Senior Industrial PVF Specialist Salesperson

Position Explanation:

The Senior Industrial PVF Inside Salesperson is responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction by preparing accurate and competitive quotations for industrial pipe, valves, and fittings (PVF). This role will focus primarily on partnering with mechanical contractors, supporting both direct customer relationships and assisting branch locations in securing and servicing industrial PVF projects. The Senior Industrial PVF Inside Salesperson will serve as a subject matter expert in industrial PVF applications, leveraging product knowledge, pricing strategy, and customer service skills to strengthen the company’s market position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Develop, prepare, and deliver accurate quotations for industrial PVF projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. • Partner directly with mechanical contractors to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines. • Support branch locations by assisting with PVF inquiries, quotations, and project support. • Provide technical product knowledge and application expertise to both customers and internal teams. • Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and outside sales teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer needs. • Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and competitor activity to support strategic sales decisions. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key contractor accounts, fostering long-term partnerships. • Assist in the training and mentoring of branch personnel on PVF product lines and quotation processes. • Proactively identify opportunities for growth in the industrial PVF market segment. • Uphold the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional service, accuracy, and responsiveness.

Required and Preferred Qualifications: • Deep knowledge of industrial PVF products (pipe, valves, fittings) and related applications. • Demonstrated success working with mechanical contractors or industrial accounts. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications and project documents. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Proficiency with sales systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Occasionally travel to pipe hub locations to work with staff and problem solve • Occasionally attend MCAA local events to drive business.

Education and Experience: • 10+ years of experience in PVF or industrial distribution sales, with a strong emphasis on quotations and project support. Work Environment: Office setting with travel. Some warehouse/outside exposure. Periodic stress may occur.
